If you haven’t heard of e-bikes, you will. They’re becoming the rage with all kinds of pluses for their use even beyond feeling the wind in your hair as you head off into the Schaumburg wilderness. A 2018 National Institute for Transportation study found that e-bike riders bike more often, take longer trips and make different types of trips than they do on pedal bikes. Aside from fun, a positive reason to e-bike is to get places without emissions. That’s part of the vision so many of us share for a better, environmentally healthier tomorrow. Our e-bikes are for Schaumburg Towers tenants only and are FREE to use for the first 4 hours. You can find the e-bikes located near the front entrance of the Atrium lobby. To set up an account to use the e-bikes, download the Koloni app for Android or IOS. A credit card must be on file when setting up your Koloni account. If the e-bike is not returned after the 4th hour of the rental concludes, a $50 per hour fee will be applied and charged to that account. If you have any questions, please contact the building management office.
