We are excited to announce Schaumburg Towers participation in a community-wide youth educational program! 

What is this educational program about?
We are glad you asked! Lemonade Day is an educational program that provides youth with the opportunity to learn how to start, own and operate their first business… a lemonade stand.  Our young Entrepreneurs will be provided with free educational materials with the support of American Landmark Properties!  On Lemonade Day, which is Thursday, July 28th, they will open for business in the Atrium lobby from the hours of 11am-1pm.  They keep the money they earn and are encouraged to spend some, save some for the future, and share some by giving to a local charity of their choice. 

This is a community-wide event that is taking place in Schaumburg through the Schaumburg Business Association.  On the day of the event, members of the SBA will visit our location to judge the stand and flavor of the lemonade.  There will be 3 contest winners in our community – best stand, best taste and over all entrepreneur of the year (highest sales).  We are hoping with the support of Schaumburg Towers tenants, our stand will be successful and will help put us in the running to be one of the top 3 contest winners!

Lemonade will be sold for $1.00/cup and there will be additional treats available for purchase.
